Professor Dr. Andrea Ermolao is a physician specialist in Sports Medicine, associate professor of Internal Medicine. He is currently managing the Sport and Exercise Medicine Division at the Department of Medicine of the Padova University. His clinical and research activities mainly include the areas of functional evaluation and exercise prescription in chronic diseases (obese and bariatric subjects, solid organ transplantation, heart failure, congenital heart diseases, cancer, other chronic conditions), cardiovascular screening in athletes, endocrine response to exercise, and high-altitude physio-pathology. He is the current president of the post-graduate Course in Preventive and Adapted Physical Activity and director of the School of Specialization of Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Padova University.
