Dr. Ash is postdoctoral fellow at the Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System and Yale University Center for Medical Informatics. His work focuses on using wearable biosensors and data analytics to build interventions that promote improved lifestyle and clinical outcomes across a wide range of populations including youth and adults with type 1 diabetes, young adults with heavy alcohol consumption, and adults with heart failure. He is also founder and leader of an annual international roundtable to help the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS) establish standards for biosensor validation and data formatting and provide a specific central laboratory resource for manufacturers to accomplish these goals.
