Dr. med. Johannes Scherr is Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of LOEWI and Head of Performance Sport at the center for preventive and sports medicine Munich. As a specialist in internal medicine, sports medicine, nutritional medicine DGEM/DAEM and preventive cardiovascular medicine DGPR® he is Head Team Physician of the German National team for Alpine Skiing of the German Ski Federation (DSV). Furthermore, he has been responsible for the medical care of the National team Alpine Skiing, Ski Cross, Free ski and Ski Freestyle in PyeongChang 2018, Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014.
