Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Götze received his Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Munich in 1987 and 1990, respectively. He held research positions at the Computer Science Department of Yale University (1991-1992) and with the DSP group of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Rice University (1995-1996). He is Professor for Information Processing at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of TU Dortmund University. His interests include signal and array processing, biomedical sensor signal processing, wireless communications, and parallel algorithms and architectures. The algorithms are also implemented and integrated in system-on-chip components.
